What keeps up busy? - Day Routine at Sivananda Balakashram

During Weekdays:
Day begins for the Batuks at 5 AM after bathing and tidying their rooms, they attend a yoga class at 6 AM, followed by breakfast and milk at 6:30 AM.
By 7:15 AM they get ready for school in their uniform with schoolbag. By 7:30 AM they leave the ashram to school in their school bus. They return back at 1:30 PM followed by bit of tidying up their things and a short nap they attend Yoga Nidra (relaxation) at 2:30 PM Tea at 3:00 PM.
They get private tuitions in ashram from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM is their favorite playtime. At 6:30 PM they have dinner followed by kirtan bhajan, chantings and satsang from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM their study time. at 9:00 PM they have milk and go to bed at 9:30 PM.
During Weekend:
During weekend in Saturdays the go to school and the routine remain the same in the morning. They return back quite early around 12:00 noon. They utilize the time before lunch in reading room.
After lunch, tea and tuition they prepare for evening Mahamrutunjaya Havan. After dinner they perform havan followed by OM chanting for universal health and well being.
On alternate Sundays they go out on picnic visiting nearby places of interest.
On Sundays when they remain in ashram they spend time reading books, learn new chanting and play games.
